I have a Brachy Paph that has an interesting pattern on the leaves.
It supposed to be a species and originate from China. I have looked at the leaves of the Brachys shown in the forum closely but this appears to be very different. I'll post the pics of the leaves and ask if anyone can tell if they have seen similar. Its supposed to be P. concolor.

Roy,
The pattern is really cool!! It looks like it was painted on the leafs. I haven't seen anything like it.

Yup, my concolor has that floral wallpaper pattern going on too :D Not as distinct as yours though.

It's difficult to identify a Paph. on its leaf patterns but it may be Paph. concolor or P. conco-bellatulum.
There's just one possibility to know it for sure - you've got to be patient and wait until it blooms.

Best regards from Germany, rudolf

I used to have a Chinese concolor...that is exactly the leaf pattern it had. Its unfortunately deceased now, but it gave me many good years with annual blooms, always at least 2 to a spike. It wasn't large, but had a nice round flower with an excellent pouch, not that ugly cashew shape that so many concolors have.....Take care, Eric

wow!! those Brachy leaves are just fantastic!!
I also have many of them (most are young), I love both leaves and flowers. I feel concolor have the nicest leaves to me.
