This is beautiful . A little over a foot long. My new favorite thing is to hype it up to people and say how good it smells. I tell them that it is kinda faint in smell so take a big wiff of it. Then when the do they jump back and say some pretty funny stuff.

My wife is a retired PT. She went to school at the Univ. of MD Med School in Baltimore. The cadaver they dissected was appropriately named "Annabel".

Ya I know and saw another flower forming. I'm super excited as the smell stays in a close range" about a foot. However kinda mad because I'm like why can't more orchids have this sequential blooming: has to be the smelly one. However I have a couple other orchids that don't smell. My psychopsis is in spike

Poorly developed or atrophied serratus posterior muscles will also have this banding pattern. Should make for a less dodgy Google search.
