A species not often seen on the forums... or in nurseries! It took me some years to find one, and I am so glad I finally did! Thank you Andy!
I just got it in January so I don't take credit for the bloom! It is great to see all those little buds coming out of the sheaths surrounding the newly grown pseudobulbs. They pop up in a matter of hours really! Plenty more to come :clap:





 
Intense red! The flowers resemble mini phrags to me. I am amazed in the variation of growth habit, size, and flower habit in this genus. Is it fragrant?
 
No fragrance detected... You are right Adam about the Maxillaria genus... this is why it has been split in many different new geniuses I suppose!
