So you found my sisters near your house (Erytrhone... Erythronium)! Here, they grow everywhere in the flower beds. Very cute plants.

Nice! My trout lilies have faded now, but it looks like they all have seed pods now...don't thaink I've ever seen that before. My jack's are just starting to bloom.

NC Gardens - Chapel Hill

Thanks for the ID of the trout lillies. In mid-March, I was at the NC Botanical Gardens in Chapel Hill. The hills were covered with those mottled leaves and about 50% had small, nodding flower buds but no flowers were open. Didn't know what they were.
