Hello! I forgot to introduce myself before posting hahaha. I am a 23 year old orchid grower from Spain who fell in love with orchids some years ago thanks to my aunt who gifted me a typical shop phalaenopsis and I instantly went down a rabbit hole. I grow indoors under LED lights and I mostly grow cattleya and phalaenopsis species and some primary hybrids. I honestly think I may be on the younger side of this hobby compared to others and I lack a lot of experience but I am very enthuastic and I hope I can share and spread the love for orchids for years to come!

Over the years, I've tried to share info to help others demystify orchid growing, but my "discovery" of Kelpak may have been the coup de grâce.
Welcome from Washington state. Speaking from personal knowledge, even those much more advanced in age can also lack experience.

One thing I have surely learned early on is that this community is REALLY welcoming and you are all so helpful even with some more complicated questions I have had there is always someone with a good answer.
You should definitely join a local club or society. The older people tend to be generous with their knowledge and extra plants towards young ones. More so than their with their peers, lol. At least that was my experience as the kid at all the meetings
