Yes, Berenice is one of those hybrids you need to train early to present nicely.

Very nice color and petal length. I wish someone would cross these with sanderianum and make some more screaming eagles. This would be a good candidate.

I bought this plant 4 years ago from Paramount in Calgary (soon to move to BC). It was only a large seedling but I always loved this hybrid so I bought it and knew I would need patience. I guess I was lucky in getting such a good-looking flower. It would be interesting to see how others from this cross turned out. I think the original cross came from Germany.
