Are you suggesting that all you need to get a new species recognized is to be a big vendor!?

I never said that and don't see how you got that from my post???

Am I missing something? I don't remember who described vejv- big nurseryman? Mother Nature is the biggest nurseryman of all.

I totally think her tag is correct and that Ross might have stumbled on remaking vejv.???

Anyone who can convince a body of peer reviewers can describe a new taxon. Regardless of how big their, um, nursery is. :)

I just said it looks a lot like vejv and the three taxa could possibly share pollen because they might exist close enough (their ranges overlap).

Like Mormodes, I'm not one to make the final call. Here's where Olaf says something about maculated bracts or something. :)

As Bill pointed out, Chuck always dominates with a white stami. As you can see Ice's post....no white stami:(

Agreed re: white stami. Although in a hybrid swarm, this might not be evident in all specimens. Hence the white concolors and yellow bellatulums that come from x wenshanense. I need to see more in person to tell. Everyone, send your vejvarutianums and Little Troubles to me for examination. And, Ross, back cross Little Trouble to barbi to see if the white staminode goes away. And cross another back to chuck to see if we can get some more color. And we'll all meet back here in 6-8 years to discuss the results. :)
