Hello Paphman,
I don't know where to begin... I started it under T8's near a south window, and temps varied between 24C-30C in the summer that Place was south west facing and no air-con. In the winter 18C-24C with humidity in the 50% range. light ranged from 14-26 hours.
Then we moved and bought a 1000watt MH light and It really took off. This light kept the temps high, but with lower humidity in the 40% range. All my plants started to grow quickly. I always watered when the media was almost dry and sometimes left it dry for a week here and there. Light was on a 12 hour cycle. then we moved again and that light would be way too much not having a room dedicated to my plants anymore.
Now I grow it under a very bright 300watt LED light, and it loves it! the only trouble I have is to keep the temps up in the winter. This light is on for 14 hours right now. Temps 20C-27C with the help of a 45 watt CFL bulb that brings the temp just high enough. Humidity once again in the 50% range.
I think that more than anything once the plant has 4-5 growths it will go wild, and put out many leads from all directions.
I always use distilled water, and organic base hydro fert once every 3 weeks or so.
Hope this answers some of you questions.
