Congratulations! This is probably my favorite Paph hybrid, combining two of my favorite species. My favorite part about Shun Fa Golden is that they're usually quite fragrant! I like the tessellation on your plant's flower. And am I mistaken or does it look like this will be bifloral?

It is indeed frragrant!

Justin, was that your malipoense that got an 88 point AM? Man, that was a super flower! I think the records showed well over 100 awards to this species over the years but not many over the last few years.
There was a recent FCC to a clone Crystelle which was likely Krull-Smiths plant. I was on the AOS team that judged the malipoense yesterday as well. I found it to be better in some ways then that most recent FCC. In a couple of aspects, it fell a little short! But grow that baby and bring it back! Please.
I can’t divulge the scores of the team but with an 88 point AM, you know that it was highly thought of. I nominated it for a flower quality award. I gave it a 91. I thought it was that good.
So many of the recent awards have the pouch snuggled up to the petals at kind of a right angle. The pouch on this one kind of hung down a bit where we could see a little bit of the area just within the pouch. I thought that it presented much better that way.
I did assist in the description.
Very pretty flower. Congrats to whomever owns it.
