Thanks, everyone. When it started opening, I wasn't sure I'd like it because the petals had so many undulations. But it's mostly straightened out in time. Maybe subsequent bloomings will be even better.

I'd like to see it crossed back to sanderianum, but I don't have one that's big enough to bloom. Is someone has a nice one in bloom now, PM me and maybe we can do a pollen exchange.

Christian, the plant has 7 growths -- most of them look to be about the same size as the one that's blooming. The longest leaf is about 2 inches longer than the one you see in the top photo.

Thanks for the info Dot. I figured it was a multigrowth plant. I have one with four growths and no signs of a sheath yet.

Hope mine's looks as nice as yours.

Imagine future bloomings with three flowers.... now we are talking extra impressive. That one extra flower would make a world of an addition to me.

Even crossing it to a roth would make a nice plant. It's white background color would remain dominant and the petals would take better shape and form.

Was this the plant he had listed on the Orchid Mall? I love this flower...need to look for one in Canada.
I doubt it. Periodically I get an email listing from him, and this was on it. I'm sure he would send this list to anyone who asks. If anyone is interested, PM me and I'll give you his email address so you can request it.
