Well flowered Christoph. Do these grow easily for you? I really struggle with both this and micranthum, and am trying to figure out what I am missing in my culture of them.
No calcium anymore in the soil for armeniacum, have the feeling that old potting mix and rotten stuff is needed, and a week fertilizer, as they dont grow with advanced formulation. The cheapest one with micro nutrient from the plant store show the best result, and they like amino acid spraying at least I have the feeling.
Agreed!! I had my mics and aremens in a course mix and they did nothing all summer So I put them all in a fine mix (when I say fine I mean 3 to 5mm max) of partly decomposed coconut and a bit of very fine bark with a touch of fine perlite. They started to put new roots out quickly! I also am keeping them very moist to wet with no drying out. I wish I started this in spring!! And yes no lime and very weak feed..agree with everything you say C
I think you have too many! You know what to do.....
Christoph, so that large basket is a single plant with stolens? About a month ago or maybe two I put one with a few growths in a basket and we shall see how it does. I'm having a hard time figuring out when to water it. How often do you water that big basket?
How many armeniacum in total do you have Dido? Do you have the other varieties?
