The clone is really different from all the other clones of Paph. insigne. So the owner proposed the clonal name 'Mantas' for it.
Since it is a single plant and a genetic deformation at that, it does not make sense to describe a new forma or variety. It is more sensible to use the name of the clone, as is already done with the other deformed clone of Paph. insigne, Paph. insigne 'Oddity'.

An article has already been written on this new clone and should be published as soon as possible.
