Yes, there is no green spotting in the pouch only red for carricinum.

Also, a quick search for other ecuadorenses and caricinums posted on this forum will make the identity clear too. It's not just colour or markings, Phrag. ecuadorense has a distinctly differently shaped pouch too as well as heavier, thicker "eyebrows".

Thanks for setting me straight on the differences between pearcei var. ecuadorensis and caricinum. Now, I will be looking for a nice caricinum.
