This is another of the small flowered phrags, though the flowers are rather large compared to the plants. :)

Well! I did get it under the name of caricinum. Now I have two pearcei var. ecudadorense? (the other one is in bud) :)

Also, a quick search for other ecuadorenses and caricinums posted on this forum will make the identity clear too. It's not just colour or markings, Phrag. ecuadorense has a distinctly differently shaped pouch too as well as heavier, thicker "eyebrows".

Thanks for setting me straight on the differences between pearcei var. ecuadorensis and caricinum. Now, I will be looking for a nice caricinum. :D
