Rosy Dawn a cross of (Paph. Astarte x Paph. Gwen Hannen)

At the moment I have nine paphiopediles in flower. One of them is the older hybrid Rosy Down which I would like to present here.

I'm normally not a fan of complex hybrids but this is very nice.

Mine also blooms now, even with two flowers. Surprisingly, I noticed that many people likes this hybrid. In any case, there are a lot of reactions to its flowering

Such a nice, old hybrid. I have two, one with a shaft right know.
When people still love them after nearly 90 years, they must be something special.

I had Rosy Dawn years ago when I started growing orchids. If I remember correctly it is fragrant as well as pretty.

Unfortunately, I can not detect any fragrance in my flower. ☹
