All beautiful, my favourite is the mariae. And great photos, too, nice lighting.

Great photos, indeed!

The first one makes me a bit dizzy, like those signs in Vegas, moving from center toward outward. haha
Love it!!!

Equestris is electrifying!

Love all of them... I believe the 'amabilis' should be named aphrodite. The lip appears to be broadly triangular instead of narrow.

Is that right. Both of them? That is funny as I only recently bought an aphrodite as I didn't have one. So now your saying I actually need to buy an amabalis. :)

Yes, you do need an amabilis, David :p You can refer to this link for the difference in lip structure.

Thanks for that. Based on that diagram it is pretty clear that they are aphrodite. That now means I have four aphrodite and zero amabilis. Unless you see it in flower, there is a high chance that if you buy an amabalis it will actually be an aphrodite.

Not sure whether true amabilis is available in OZ, but I find they grow differently. Aphrodite grows well under uniformly hot conditions but doesn't flower. The plant has shorter, rounder leaves too. Most of the amabilis we have here are non-selected forms and the plants have long leaves when mature.
