If it was a case of a 'few' years, I would consider it. I am not a great advocate of selfing inferior parents in the hope of generating a few good offspring, the investment in time and space and money does not warrant the percentage outcome (IMO). I think its presentation, size and colour are acceptable, it is the flower count that is off, as well as the fact that it does not offer much over the species parent apart from larger flowers (and only just) I would be more inclined to explore Bel Royal x philli or Temptation x roths, even Bel Royal x kolo
