Trusty Paph. niveum

My trusty Paphiopedilum niveum. 4th blooming in 12 months. The spike just keeps getting taller. A lot taller than all my other niveums. The flower quality is average.

I think I have to destroy the pot to take the plant out without damaging roots. These Rands pots are super thick tho!

A long soak in water might help to detach the roots easier. Yucca powder in solution can help too as it’s hydrophilic.

I like both.....the in your eyes 'average' flower on looong stems as well as the extremely well grown plant. Lovely !
