First is Ron Williamson, flowers the second time for me. Two flowers and one bud this time, and lots more stippling than before. This is still one of my favourites.

Second is something not so common, Lady Light is prim x insigne. I saw it on Ebay last year and bought it since it looked better than what I imagined from this cross.

Enjoy!

I think both are very attractive.

What is the parentage of the Ron Williamson?

Do you know if it was the sandrae form of insigne used in the cross? I assume it was the alba/flavum form of primulinum.

Thanks for posting these lovely photos!

Tyrone, I assume the album forms of both species were used. Well, quasi-album, maybe. Those tiny red spots in this flower make me wonder if the sanderae form of insigne has been used and not the sanderianum form. But then I don't know how the colour suppression is being inherited in this cross.

Cheers,

Usually when it comes to cochlo hybrids I can take them or leave them but those are both very attractive.
