Why remove it??? You can prune it to the extend needed, but not remove it!!! Helps the microclimate and is a perfect natural hanging point for pots!!! See, it's very useful!!!

I'm starting to look into hanging more plants, maybe even hanging pots from hanging pots!

i've done that in the past, but have to make sure that your upper hangers/pots are strong enough to hold the weight of those below or they will snap and all crash down :sob:
