Did anyone know a grower named Dan Dickey?

Former president of Orchid Society of Southern California he was apparently an expert in repotting and culture in general. Unfortunately he passed on recently.

I was wondering if anyone ever attended any of his past seminars.

I knew him, he was a great orchid grower! I had been to his greenhouse. I found his obituary, he passed away two years ago.

Do you remember if he gave any culture tips on repotting?

Reading that he would spend hours to repot a few plants sounds very interesting. I also found that he used to speak to societies on the subject.
