New acquisition. The flower is amazingly flat. The plant looks like a Dendrobium, but I think it is in the Cattleya family.

I have always enjoyed this species - rather attractive plants, not too big, pretty good flower form, yet no registered hybrids. I assume people try to make crosses and they just don't take.

And yes, it is a Cattleya/Epidendrum relative. Cross it with anything, please.
