From Southern Bahia pretty high up in trees at lower elevations. 80-88 F day and 62-68 F at night. A bit cooler and drier in winter. Do best for me in wood basket with coarse bark, but tend to grow on the outside of the basket over time. I grow in a greenhouse and they get nearly daily watering in summer. One of those plants that wants to be moist, yet have very high air exposure to the roots in my experience. Like the rest of the hadrolaelias, seems to like to be watered in the evening in warmer weather. Warmer growing than pumila, praestans or jongheana.
