I had one of these 13 years ago, but in my move to Scotland lost it. Managed to track down a decent specimen a year ago, and it has just come into bloom. Look forward to some of the further buds opening in due course, but thought it would be nice to share this now. It is of course philippinense x primulinum.

Many thanks. But really the secret is just a good quality of very black cloth hung a few feet behind the bloom, and then using soft, ambient daylight. Tripod, f16 or so, lowest possible ISO. And I study which angle works best, I think that takes as much time as anything.

Great photograghy

Haven't seen too many of these, just the one other which I had about 15 years ago. That one had a slightly darker pouch, but this one is prettier.
