Prince Edward of York from roths 'Dark Star' x sand 'Lady in Red'. Something scarred the spike and made it go wonky but I like the first flower enough that I'll give it some time to grow up and evaluate it again on a better blooming.

Yang-Ji Apple from phil var. robelenii, much nicer than the last Yang-Ji Apple, I'll keep this one for another bloom cycle as well.

First bloom WBW from roths 'Leo' x anitum 'Ace' cracking open. This cross has been blooming on tiny plants, leafspan is only about 20" for this one and it's probably the largest I've bloomed. It has been hard to evaluate them critically when they're only putting out two small flowers from a plant that is nowhere near its potential but this one may be the standout of the bunch. Only two flowers but the dorsal is looking to be around the 6cm mark.

Haur Jih Anita, it bloomed with four flowers three years ago but lost the flowering growth after and has been slow to recover. Flowers are looking darker this time and I can't wait to see it in a few more years when it has had time to put on some real size.

I don't know if it means anything but these are the biggest bracts I've ever seen. Roths 'Giant Wings' x 'X-Hot'.

This is exciting, after four years of growing a dozen blooming size stonei one finally decided to spike. These things make sanderianum look turbocharged.

One of my handful of not-Paphs, Trichopilia seem to have a reputation for being difficult but this T. tortilis just hangs out in the background and blooms regularly.
