Very interesting flower. It is ugly but still very interesting.
I dont think that it is peloric, because the petals are one-half dorsal not shaped like a pouch. But what looks most interesting to me ist that it has four petals.
It is improbable that it will bloom normally next time, because the flowers are genetically stunted because they are all more or less the same. So most likely this is a sign for a mutation that will occur whenever it blooms.
Sad thing, but in your friends greenhouse, it is still an eye catcher. I bet no one has ever seen a roth that was so spectacular!!
I think here are much more specialists and can explain it.
