    Phrag. Jason Fischer 'Charlie'

how does the color and size of this compare to a pure besseae? I like this a lot, and the color seems less orangy red than the photo of your "Carlisle" Besseae, or is it just differences in the monitor or photo skewing the color?

    Two Lealia anceps var. coerulea

This is one of my favorites!

Phrag. (Icho Tower x besseae flavum)

WOW, I really like the bright yellow, which is accentuated by the flashes of red, without becoming muddy or washed out. For me, the Icho tower flower doesn't have the punch of eye striking color, with its blended peachy tones. It will be interesting to see how this performs as the plant matures...

    Paph. gratrixianum 'Orion'

Could the redder color come as the flower ages? how old are the new blooms now? when you got it last yr, was that an older more mature bloom?

    Dream Hybrids MegaThread

I saw a flower at a show once that looked to me like it was Armeniacum x suk. I know it is a named cross, but I can't find a pic. Anyway, I would like to see a cross like that that was easy to grow and bloom....basically a yellow background, with fairly large flower size and lots of freckles.....

    Pacific Orchid Expo/San Francisco

    I wish I could go.....
  16. O

    Guess the primary?

I like the name! Are you going to cross it to anything? And if so, what would you expect? ( ie if you cross it to a besseae or a JF, would the red dilute or intensify?)
  17. O

    Phrag. Shimmer 'Carlisle'

WOW, that one sure is a keeper! Have you seen others from this cross? I wonder if you got a great clone, or if they are pretty consistant in what they look like.

Now we have 2 cats too.....

he was about 6 when we got him, so we will never really know...
  19. O

    Phrag. tetzlaffianum

What size pot is it growing in? It looks like it does have a nice ratio of blooms to greenery!

Now we have 2 cats too.....

Louie, a rescue from the humane society, he is a Snowshoe, and had all 4 paws declawed....you can see his little toes do look mangled. He is sweet, likes to "make biscuits" on us, but doesn't like to be held. We have had him just over a year. And then there is Tasha. She was a stray who...
